Saturday – July 2, 2016 – Izzy is a male Malinois pulled from a shelter situation in the Michigan area by another rescue who then got in touch with ABMR. He received sorely needed medical attention through the efforts of the rescue who pulled him and was then delivered to Robin Barfoot, who was his short-term foster in Michigan. He is now headed to his foster home in Alabama with Hillary Sansone.

Thank you to drivers Kari MacPherson (Kari is with the other rescue and provided medical assistance, transport, etc), Doug Haskell, Sue Walker, Melissa Moerland, Linda Allen, Susan Wilkinson, Linda Askey and Hillary Sansone. This was a 2-day run that, by Thursday, became pretty evident that we were not going to be able to fill it, so through the efforts of our drivers who stretched out and accommodated time changes, we changed to a 1-day run and Izzy made it all the way on Saturday. AWESOME!!!

Izzy is a real sweetheart/wild-child and should be up on the website, searching for his forever home, very shortly. As you can see, he has the Belgian Flip gene. Thank you all so much for making this happen for Izzy. His first years were not good ones and he came into rescue with allergies and skin conditions that are now on the mend and he is feeling sooooo much better.
