ABMR 2016 Transports

Sunday, April 10, 2016 – Due to an urgent medical situation, Katie, Stryker and Farrah needed to be moved from their home in Florida to new fosters awaiting their arrival. There were actually 2 separate transports so we could accommodate all 3 dogs.

Huge thanks go out to drivers Melissa Frye, Donna Moore, Coral Wages, Kathy Burnett, Angela Maddux, Kimberly Williams, Cheryl Nelson, Linda Shannon, Russ Raniszewski and Ruthanne Wilson who transported Stryker and Katie. Katie got off transport in Kingsland and Stryker continued on to Columbia SC to his foster home. As you can see from the picture, it was a pretty happy homecoming as Stryker is being fostered in a home where his brother lives.

Farrah had the wonderful opportunity of a straight thru ride to Jacksonville with Cynthia Strawn, where Angela met her coming in and transported her north. Thank you Cynthia!!!
Everyone is doing fine and we hope to have all in their new foster homes shortly. Thank you to all the drivers who put aside other activities to help Stryker, Katie and Farrah get safely to their destinations!!!

Saturday, February 20, 2016 – Pepper is a 4 year old female Malinois who originally came out of Texas. She recently made the trip from Texas up to her foster home with Kitty Pursley in Kansas. She was found alongside a highway, injured, presumable after being hit by a car, resulting in the amputation of her left front leg.
