What a great story! I rescued a Mal litterally off the streets of Memphis back in May- laying in the middle of the road with a broken leg. Initially she was kinda shy, and showed some signs of confinement and abuse, but now she is just vibrant. WE see quite a few people who at first approach are quite affraid of her, and I think it's a combination of two things- the wolf face and the- well- effervescence- she just runs to greet people. That's probablly what the shelter folks saw and mis took from aggression. My girls, Elah, the whole time this strange guy was shuttling her around and more strange guys were poking on her hurt leg, she NEVER< EVER< EVER lost her composure or showed any threat. Glad to hear yours is coming along nicely.
